Are you suffering from Anxiety Disorder?

It is estimated that one in three people in the USA is suffering from some level of anxiety disorder!

Here are some sobering USA facts … (Anxiety Disorders Association of America (ADAA))

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder: 6.8 million, 3.1%
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder: 2.2 million, 1.0%.
  • Panic Disorder: 6 million, 2.7%
  • Posttraumatic Stress Disorder: 7.7 million, 3.5%
  • Social Anxiety Disorder: 15 million, 6.8%.
  • Specific Phobia affects: 19 million, 8.7%.

According to these statistics over the last 10 years, 54 percent of woman and 46 percent of men experience anxiety disorder.

With the right help and healing, those who experience an anxiety condition can:

  • Regain control of their health and life
  • Live a balanced, happy, and fulfilling life
  • Have happier and more fulfilling relationships
  • Become the individual they always thought they could be
  • Reconnect with life in a more rewarding and satisfying way
  • Live an unrestricted lifestyle ready to tackle any challenge
  • Express themselves like never before
  • Live a more accepting life, appreciating uniqueness and imperfection
  • Experience a more stable work environment
  • Freedom from medication and/or drug use
  • Reconnect with their faith and feel God’s presence
  • Have a closer relationship with God

Hypnosis, Meditation and Mindset therapies can often resolve these issues over a short time frame. In more complex and deeply rooted conditions counselling by a professional psychologist or other medical professional may be warranted.

Ideally a combination of treatments can be applied concurrently to provide maximum healing for the client.

Limiting Beliefs

3 Ways Your Limiting Beliefs Hold You Back

Limiting beliefs, whether you realize it or not, have a profound effect on our lives. They can affect your life in so many ways, and none of the ways they can affect your life are good.

When you can let go of your limiting beliefs, you can change your life and start living the life that you’ve always wanted.

Here are three ways that your limiting beliefs are holding you back from realizing your dreams and living the life you want.

1. They Taint Your Experience of Living

When you are constricted by your limiting beliefs, you will do far fewer things over the course of your life.

For example, if you believe that roller coasters are dangerous, you will probably never ride one, and you’d miss out on the thrill that so many others have experienced.

No matter how great your life is at this current moment, you are holding onto beliefs that are stopping you from experiencing life to the fullest.

2. They Make You inefficient

The limiting beliefs that we are holding onto cause us to find an alternate path.

If we believe that the best route won’t work for us, we can spend a ton of time following a less direct way to work around our limiting belief.

You may have always dreamed of being a teacher but believe that you can’t make a living as a teacher, so you do everything but teach.

Save yourself time and deal with the beliefs that are holding you back rather than giving up on what you really want.

3. They Can Cause You to Unintentionally Harm Others

Your beliefs are more like a virus and less like math because they are more likely to be caught then they are to be taught.

Even if you have the best of intentions, you can infect others with your limiting beliefs.

The limiting beliefs that you pass onto others then affect them for the rest of their lives.

You need to take some time and consider who you are infecting with your limiting beliefs and how those beliefs are affecting them and their own potential to live their best life.

Limiting beliefs can be incredibly destructive and will always keep you from achieving the life that you’ve always wanted.

If you want to change your life you need to identify your limiting beliefs and start taking the necessary steps to overcome them.

Hypnosis is an excellent way to rid yourself of your limiting beliefs quickly and easily.

Dealing with Bereavement

Dealing with the loss of a loved one is a difficult and often disabling event full of intense feelings of grief, guilt, and loss.

The hypnosis recording below is provided free of charge as a public service to those seeking help to get over their sense of loss and move on with life.

Grieving is our way of processing the loss of someone close. It should not be eliminated as this natural process is beneficial, however, it can become overpowering resulting in extended periods of feeling depressed, lonely, and defeated. As if our life has ended, not the life of our loved one.

Listen to this recording, as often as you wish, it will help you through the process and remind you to accept and celebrate your loved one’s life and achievements.

Any feedback would be appreciated as helping others is my reward …

Emotional Needs in Business

Everyone has emotional needs, in business and our private lives, which are essential to leading an emotionally balanced life.

This is especially true for entrepreneurs as they work in the public domain as they operate their business for all to see.

The needs which need to be met include:
  • Giving and receiving attention
  • Having a sense of control
  • Having purpose and meaning in our lives
  • Having stimulation and creativity
  • Being aware of the mind-body connection.
When we don’t have our needs met appropriately, we may seek out alternative solutions.

For a problem like smoking, for example –
  • Smoking as a way of ‘breaking the ice’ when socializing
  • Smoking as a way of making sure we take a break
  • Smoking to have a sense of control in our lives
  • As everything else seems out of our control we can decide to smoke and when to smoke; or smoking to give us stimulation.

A single issue or problem can have many different solutions.

By learning which need is being met by the problem, it is possible to address that need directly. As that need gets met, it is much less likely the problem will continue. It will be more likely it will be easier to move on and keep the changes.

Setting tasks can also create situations where the needs met appropriately through a safer, more acceptable behavior. Activities like hobbies, sports or learning can help to meet their needs.

By analyzing which needs are not being met, or are being met inappropriately, it is possible to dramatically speed up the time it takes to resolve the problem.

The impact will be much greater, as they continue to cope with life after therapy.
